About

Here’s the short version, until I sit down and properly think of something better:

I've had this blog sitting for a long time and have restarted it multiple times. Mostly because I am my worst critic and I think that it has previously sucked.
And yet I continue to do it because I have a voice and I need to use it. I’m not the diary type of person, but I see the value in one. Not that this blog is going to be a diary. It will be my global voice. More of a sharing of thoughts. Even though no one may ever read it.

I am a heavy internet user. My job even requires it. I am a Software Developer at a startup company that specializes in taking print media and putting it on the web. In my career I have benefitted from the online community of developers and using this blog, I plan to give back and help others.

I'm not a writer but I like to talk. I like to discuss... and I like to share.

Thanks for reading.

Save the Internets

Here's a great video that explains Net Neutrality. If you don't know what Net Neutrality is and you use the internet, please watch this. Without Net Neutrality, the internet will become a one-way only street. You will be feed what corporations want you to see, not what you choose. What makes the internet one of the greatest inventions of our time is giving a voice to millions. That will all be gone. Blogs like this won’t be accessible. And you ask, "Then what will replace it?" Look no further than newspapers, radio and of course television. It will be one big corporate advertisement.

A quote from the video:

"you know who won't be able to pay is the little guys and you'll be crushing the future of innovation..."

Please watch and be informed. More is at stake than blogs, YouTube, Digg, Facebook, whatever… it is just another way of limiting free speech and information by a select few. They already own all the other media and the internet is next.
